Workshops and SeminarsBased out of the Chicagoland area, TM Consulting Group Inc. offers human resource management, workforce training and development, and business process consulting to local businesses in the Chicagoland area (including Wisconsin and Indiana) as well as companies throughout the U.S. We offer this training either in conjunction with other human resource management consulting services or as a standalone engagement. Sessions are offered as either hands-on, half day or full day “working sessions” (workshops) or as one to two hour “information sessions” (seminars). Either way, all training is customized to meet your specific needs.
There are two other elements that are consistent throughout all our training. First, we believe that the underlying purpose of all training is to connect your employees to your business—to help the entire team understand the goals of the business, their critical role in achieving those goals, and the ways in which everyone shares in the success of that achievement. Regardless of format, we also incorporate adult learning models and, perhaps more importantly, elements of fun into the sessions. No, we don’t have you do “trust falls” into co-workers’ arms nor do we wear funny hats, but we do know that if people are engaged and involved that they are far more likely to learn and retain. So we have fun because that makes work and life a lot more pleasant, but also because fun is all about achieving business goals.
